History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is dressed in an above average manner. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Masseuse. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has a very tight haircut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Ernest was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult.
