History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Percival lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Percival was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Percival's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sailor and was forced into it by his family; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A freak accident while working with his Guard mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: This dark-skinned male is typically in his Beggar uniform. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Aldous reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
