Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a monstrous two handed axe on his belt. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He is a great chef.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He found a children's book about a Human Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Norman embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
