Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a tattered pair of loose grey pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His golden hair is still thick. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He wears a violet tunic with brown highlights, and long blue pants that bunch up around his shoes. His head has been shaved. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Weaver but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: He was born into a rich family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and a deep hatred of giants

Description: He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. He carries a battered sai and tarnished morningstar as well. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Adelard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.
History: He was born into a rich family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and an old rival family wants him found
