Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Detective profession.

History: Dean was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He struck the Brewer job and began his own company from there.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Painter, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Weaver.
