History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
