History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Baker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Arnold was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His first spouse was a Beggar, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mayor and was forced into it by his family.

He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Arnold was born with his father's beautiful face. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.
