History: Alex lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alex fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Painter business.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gifted student he started as a Marshal, but he got bored and became a Painter. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gerard will drive conversation. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Gerard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He's also a talented Bowyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the east to a Crown-heir, Aldous learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
