History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but he was a colossal failure. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Rolf has worked very hard to control his curse. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
