History: Born to a Soapmaker, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Architect hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
