History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Frederick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
