History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Human Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Nicholas abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains.
