History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. History: Lance lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Herbalist, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult

One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
