Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bricklayer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.
