History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Richard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
