History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He's also a talented Masseuse, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Human Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Adam was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.
