Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He uses divination through singing.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Sculptor, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cartwright.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nicholas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Born to a Dilettante, his father struggled to pay the bills. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
