History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 20. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. After coming to the age of reason, Simon took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears skinny pants and wears a brown and tan robe with the hood down. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: He wears a white vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His violet leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his white boots flare out at the collars. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His blonde hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
