History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Clerebold never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.
