History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his father's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student he started as a Architect, but he got bored and became a Fletcher. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Brewer and was forced into it by his family.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Priest. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
