History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Bernard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
