History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Gerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He became a Scribe soon after.
