History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born in a small island village. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his music dream.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gerard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently the stress of being a Shoemaker has made it difficult for him to sleep.
