He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Alex was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 6'3" and is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Alexandre was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Lance isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
