History: Geoffrey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright father left him crippled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gifted from a young age, Theobald studied abroad. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Simon is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: Simon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
