Personality: He is happy with his job as a Tanner. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Bellfounder soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bellfounder responsibilities is difficult; and he desires power and/or immortality
