Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty yellow coat over it. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Norman enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mercenary. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mercenary for hire.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His head has been shaved. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he dresses like a well dressed Blacksmith does. His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the south to a Blacksmith, Rolf learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Blacksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
