Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Gilbert took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Personality: Arnold is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Arnold was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Gardener for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: Born in the east to a Hunter, Peter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Hunter for the past few years.
