Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Nicholas was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Assassin. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Kody was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
