History: Gifted from a young age, Hugh studied abroad. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Bernard will drive conversation. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Bernard was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bellfounder.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This western man dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with green slacks. His clothes are grease stained in places. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and to share knowledge with the world
