Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Lance was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lance's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a great chef.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
