History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Gerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to drow.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 33. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his youth he was a Merchant, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Ernest was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Priest. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.
