History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Anselm is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His first spouse was a Bellfounder, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
