History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Herbalist, but he got bored and became a Dilettante. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: The child of a Gardener, who enjoyed hunting, Adelard was taken on many hunting expeditions. Adelard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Simon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
