History: The child of a Knight, who enjoyed hunting, Thomas was taken on many hunting expeditions. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and retire the richest man in the east

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
