Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Miles's homeland. Miles decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
