Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He dresses in green turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with black slacks. His silver hair is unkempt and raggedy. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Theodoric is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Theodoric lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Theodoric was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Theodoric's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is cut close to his head. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his top brown hat.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Unemployed but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to clean up the streets

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and he perpetually has his ceremonial dagger ready. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Conrad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Geoffrey grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He likes to wear grey tank tops with yellow pants. With a patchy white beard and wild white hair. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He's also a talented Server, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult
