Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Heward's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Gifted from a young age, Heward studied abroad. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heward fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants revenge against goblins

History: Lance lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Roger was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He has worked as a Stableman like his mother before him.
