History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. During his travels, Diggory and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Diggory discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Diggory fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Odo embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Chad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a monstrous two handed axe, but if one is not available he will default to his spear. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Kyle was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spy. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Human Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
