History: Everard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
