Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kody grew up listening to his father's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he has a large yellow mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his pastel robe. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears a tight fitting yellow shirt and pants. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Jocelyn was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Hunter. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: Everard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.
