History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Randal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Randal's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and doesn't want to be a mortician and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jocelyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Jocelyn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Richard was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
