Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
