History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Rolf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Actor. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
