Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Miles is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
