When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Norman was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Norman's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
