History: Born in the south to a Scribe, Alex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Barkeep, but he was a colossal failure. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
