History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is content; and a deep hatred of illithids

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and many brigands want him driven away
