History: Born in the west to a Sage, Frederick learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Navigator and found it very stressful. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
