Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born in the west to a Shipwright, Gilbert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a Guard, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Tim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Tim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Masseuse, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His childhood dream was to be a Beggar, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Bounty Hunter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: Nicholas wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands.
